Registration for the 2026 Duluth Drag Races, presented by Redline Performance and Lake Country Supply Company is now FULL at 100 drivers, however we are taking registrations for an additional 20 “reserve/waiting list” spots. These spots usually open up and allow drivers to compete as we get closer to the event date.
If you would like to join the “reserve/waiting list”, please fill out the form below and submit it with all information required in the driver fields. Registration does not guarantee participation as vehicle and driver must meet the minimum requirements for drivers and vehicles. All drivers are required to sign a liability waiver.
Saturday (September 26) will be a test and tune day for all registered drivers. Sunday (September 27) will be a chip draw style – single elimination format. This year we will be breaking into three (3) classes as follows:
STREET CLASS
Tire Rules:
- DOT-approved rear tires up to 28×10.5 or 275 equivalent radial.
- DOT drag radials and DOT-approved slicks are permitted.
Body & Exterior:
- All windows must be factory glass.
- Composite hood only.
- Functional headlights and taillights are required.
Interior:
- Factory-appearing dashboard.
- Factory-style interior, including finished door panels.
- Carpeted floor required.
- Two (2) front seats required.
Exhaust:
- Mufflers are required.
Engine & Power Adders:
- Naturally aspirated only.
- Turbochargers, superchargers, and nitrous oxide systems are prohibited.
Suspension:
- Factory-style rear suspension required.
- Aftermarket ladder bars and 4-link rear suspension systems are prohibited.
Safety:
All applicable safety requirements must be met.
Staging Procedure:
Vehicles equipped with hard tires (standard street radial or bias-ply tires) will be directed to stage outside the prepared starting-line groove. This procedure helps preserve the racing surface for vehicles equipped with drag radials or slicks.
SMALL TIRE
Tire Rules:
- Maximum rear tire size:
- 28×10.5 slick (No W’s), or 275 equivalent radial
Body:
- Factory roof required.Â
- Factory quarter panels required.
- Full aftermarket composite bodies are prohibited.
Vehicle Eligibility:
- Door cars only.
Safety:
All applicable safety requirements must be met.
BIG TIRE
Tire Rules:
- Any rear tire size permitted.
Vehicle Eligibility:
- Door cars only.
Included Vehicles
- All 4WD and AWD vehicles will compete in the Big Tire class.
